My Writing Experiences

We all did our writing assignments when we’re at school. Back then, I did get some remarks for mine, but I did not push myself to write better and I was not in an environment that believe writing was going to bring you any thing marvellous in the future. Well, but here I am now “half” bragging about my writings.

The first time I met the world of publishing was back when I was a college student. I wrote two articles for a student organization club magazine. It was a computer magazine, since it’s my field of interest and the publisher was a computer club. Even though it’s just a student club magazine, it was on sale at large book stores. So, it’s kinda cool.

After that I tried to be a blogger because of my curiosity. Everybody was talking about blog all the time, everybody wanted to own one (and even more), and people were getting noticed (and income) because of their blogs. Now we all know there is only a handful of people who survived as blogger, including me. I even didn’t use my own made content on my first blog, Funny and Interesting Emails and spent a dime on it. I didn’t have like 10,000 unique visitors a day, but having my blogs noticed by people all over the world was a great pleasure. That was when I started to think about writing a book. An opportunity kicked in and I took it. You can read the rest of my story below.

It is always a great pleasure to watch people taking a look, not to mention buying my books and perhaps asking me to sign them. Yes, right now, I’m a writer at Elex Media Komputindo in computer subjects. Although I’m also considering writing on other subjects. And now I know that writing books is not just about “writing”.
